God's Vision for South Brooksville

South Brooksville is a community with deep roots—roots of family, faith, culture, tradition, and the enduring values that have shaped generations. Yet alongside those strengths are stories of hurt, brokenness, addiction, poverty, and wounds that have lingered for far too long. As church attendance has declined and many have lost hope for the future, we believe God has not forgotten this community. We believe the Lord is calling His Church to rise together once again, bringing the Gospel to every street, every home, and every heart.

The vision God has given us is not merely for an event, but for restoration. We believe He desires to heal the brokenhearted, bring freedom to those bound by addiction and sin, restore families, strengthen churches, and awaken a fresh hunger for His presence throughout South Brooksville. Through unity among local churches, intentional discipleship, consistent evangelism, and compassionate ministry, we believe God will write a new chapter in the story of this community. The same God who has been faithful through generations is still at work today, calling people to salvation, healing, freedom, and hope through Jesus Christ.

What Are We Doing About This?

To see this vision become a reality, churches across South Brooksville will unite around a clear strategy of discipleship, evangelism, prayer, and compassionate ministry. We will begin by bringing the message of discipleship to local congregations, challenging believers to become disciples who make disciples and equipping them through the Next Steps Discipleship Program. From there, we will work together for four consecutive months of community outreach, taking the Gospel to every home and business throughout South Brooksville while establishing prayer teams to intercede for the harvest.

The campaign will culminate in a united Worship Night and a community-wide Gospel Crusade where the Gospel will be preached, new believers will be baptized, and prayer ministry will be offered to those seeking healing, freedom, and restoration. Throughout the process, we will partner with local churches to ensure that every individual reached has a pathway into discipleship and connection with a church family. Our goal is not simply to host events, but to see lasting transformation through a united Church, a reached community, and generations of disciples who continue the work long after the campaign has ended.

Discipleship

The foundation of the South Brooksville Gospel Invasion is discipleship. Before we take the message of Christ to the streets, we believe the Church must first be challenged to embrace the higher standard of discipleship that Jesus commanded. Throughout this campaign, we will preach in participating churches on the biblical call to follow Christ wholeheartedly, denying ourselves, taking up our cross, and becoming true disciples of Jesus. Our goal is to call believers beyond simply attending church and into a lifestyle of spiritual growth, obedience, service, and multiplication.

As churches embrace this vision, we will work alongside pastors and leaders to implement the Next Steps Discipleship Program within their congregations. This biblically based discipleship process is designed to help believers grow in their faith while equipping them to disciple others. The program includes personal discipleship through the local church, a weekly discipleship class, and a 15-day devotional that teaches believers how to read, understand, and apply God's Word for themselves. More than a curriculum, Next Steps is a pathway that helps transform converts into disciples and disciples into disciple-makers.

A key emphasis of this effort is multiplication. Jesus did not simply command His followers to make converts; He commanded them to make disciples. Through training, mentorship, and practical application, believers will learn how to invest in others, share their faith, and walk alongside new Christians as they grow in their relationship with Christ. By establishing discipleship leaders within each congregation, we believe every participating church can develop a sustainable culture of discipleship that continues long after the campaign has concluded.

Our vision is to see a movement of disciples who make disciples throughout South Brooksville. As believers are equipped and empowered to reproduce what God has done in their own lives, the Gospel will continue to spread from person to person, family to family, and generation to generation. Through strong churches, intentional discipleship, and faithful obedience to Christ's command, we believe God will produce lasting fruit that transforms both lives and communities.

"Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ."
— 1 Corinthians 11:1 (KJV)

Evangelism

Following the call to discipleship, participating churches will unite as one body to carry the Gospel into every corner of South Brooksville through twelve consecutive weeks of evangelism. Every Saturday, believers from multiple congregations will come together to pray, receive direction, and be sent into the community with a shared mission: to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and invite people into a life-changing relationship with Him. This effort is not centered around one church, ministry, or denomination, but around the unified Body of Christ working together to reach our community with the message of hope, salvation, and restoration.

Our goal is to systematically reach every home and business within the South Brooksville region at least twice during the campaign. Through organized outreach teams, designated routes, and consistent weekly efforts, we will ensure that every neighborhood has the opportunity to hear the Gospel. Whether through personal conversations, prayer, Gospel literature, invitations to local churches, or ministry opportunities, we want every resident to know that they are seen, valued, and loved by God. By making multiple contacts throughout the campaign, we hope to build meaningful connections and provide opportunities for continued discipleship and church involvement.

Throughout the twelve weeks, designated churches will also serve as prayer hubs where intercessors will continually pray for outreach teams, salvations, divine appointments, and the spiritual condition of our community. We believe evangelism is not merely a human effort, but a spiritual work empowered by the Holy Spirit. As teams go into the streets, prayer teams will stand in the gap, asking God to soften hearts, open doors, break strongholds, and draw people to Himself.

Our vision extends beyond counting decisions or distributing literature. We desire to see lives transformed, families restored, addictions broken, and people connected to healthy local churches where they can continue growing in their faith. By saturating South Brooksville with the Gospel through twelve weeks of united evangelism, we believe God will prepare the way for a great harvest of souls and lay the foundation for lasting community transformation through Jesus Christ.

"And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ."
— Acts 5:42 (KJV)

3

Worship

Before the culmination of the South Brooksville Gospel Invasion, believers from across the community will gather for a united night of worship and intercession. This special gathering is designed to bring the Body of Christ together as one, setting aside denominational differences and personal agendas to seek the face of God on behalf of our churches, our families, and our community. We believe that lasting transformation does not begin with programs or events, but in the presence of God through prayer, worship, and humble dependence upon Him.

Throughout Scripture, God responds to the prayers of His people. We believe intercession moves the heart of God and creates an atmosphere for His power and presence to work in the lives of individuals and communities. As we worship and pray together, we will cry out for salvation, healing, revival, unity among churches, and freedom for those who are bound by addiction, brokenness, and hopelessness. We will stand in the gap for South Brooksville, asking God to pour out His Spirit upon our region and draw people to Himself.

Worship is more than music; it is an expression of surrender and devotion that draws us into closer fellowship with the Lord. As we lift up the name of Jesus together, we believe hearts will be refreshed, faith will be strengthened, and believers will be encouraged for the work ahead. Before we seek to impact our community, we must first seek God corporately, allowing Him to align our hearts with His purposes and empower us through His presence.

Our prayer is that this night will serve as a spiritual turning point for South Brooksville—a time when churches come together in unity, believers are renewed, and the presence of God is welcomed into every aspect of the campaign. We believe that as God's people seek Him together, He will hear from heaven, move upon our community, and prepare the way for a great harvest of souls.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
— 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

Gospel Crusade

The South Brooksville Gospel Crusade will serve as the culmination of our united efforts, bringing churches and community partners together to share the hope of Jesus Christ with our region. At the center of this event will be the clear preaching of the Gospel, calling people to repentance, salvation, and a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe the Gospel is the answer to the brokenness, addiction, hopelessness, and spiritual needs facing our community today.

Throughout the crusade, individuals will have opportunities to receive prayer for healing, deliverance, freedom from addiction, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. New believers will be able to publicly declare their faith through water baptism, while prayer teams minister to those seeking restoration, encouragement, and a fresh touch from God. We believe Jesus still saves, heals, delivers, and transforms lives through the power of His Spirit.

In addition to spiritual ministry, the crusade will include practical outreach efforts designed to serve the community. Families will be connected with addiction recovery resources, employment and career assistance opportunities, grocery giveaways, and other forms of support that demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways. Our desire is to minister to the whole person—spirit, soul, and body.

Most importantly, our work will not end when the crusade is over. Every individual who responds to the Gospel will be connected with a local church and invited into the Next Steps Discipleship Program, ensuring that new believers are discipled, encouraged, and equipped to grow in their faith. Our goal is not simply to see decisions made, but to see disciples raised up who will follow Christ and help others do the same.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives..."
— Luke 4:18 (KJV)
