Lift Up Your Eyes

“Listen to Me, My people; And give ear to Me, O My nation:

For law will proceed from Me, And I will make My justice rest

As a light of the peoples. My righteousness is near,

My salvation has gone forth, And My arms will judge the peoples;

The coastlands will wait upon Me, And on My arm they will trust.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, And look on the earth beneath.

For the heavens will vanish away like smoke, The earth will grow old like a garment,

And those who dwell in it will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not be abolished."

Isaiah 51:4-6

In this passage God is telling his people that He is their judge, their salvation, and their righteousness. He was telling them to believe in Him, and not in their own might or power.

This message that was spoken by God through the prophet is still true today,"

Lift up your Eyes and see how much you need to depend on God. The earth is vanishing like smoke and it is growing old like a garment, and the people are dying in that manner, But His salvation is forever and His righteousness will not be abolished. This is talking about Jesus and what He did, what He is doing, and what He will do with all those who are pursuing Him.

Pray With Me: "God, you see what is happening in my life today, and I lift my eyes to see how You see. Thank You for what You have done to bring me to where I am today, and thank You for what You are doing, and what You will do, to guide me closer to You. I say yes to You. In Jesus' name, Amen."
